The fires are out, things are "getting back to normal." At least, for the people who still have homes and stuff.

Today I went back to the place where we watched the fire start. It's a different landscape these days.

There's new growth already, but it's going to take years...

I like how the landscape looks in that picture. It reminds me of Fallout. It's kind of understandable when a huge firestorm has ravaged the whole area.
