By exploring questions that can not be answered by science.

Good question.
In my opinion, it's more about accepting that both have their grey areas... or is it gray areas.
Whatever the colour or even the color, is it you that has an accent or me ??

Just because our current science can't explain it doesn't mean that science never could. But that's an interesting one to contemplate.
There's definitely gray areas. In fact I think it's safe to say that spirituality is one big gray area, heh. But that doesn't get me very far!

I think spirituality is fufu nonsense in general. I don't explore it for the same reason I don't explore religion, because I have no good reason to.

It requires that you suspend belief... or disbelief, depending on your viewpoint.

Yeah... that's the problem. I don't want to have to suspend beliefs or disbeliefs or basic science or skepticism or common sense. This makes for a rather difficult environment for this topic.

I believe spirituality is a search for meaning, just as science is too. Scientific discovery can be a spiritual experience. Just because things can be explained doesn't make them any less wonderful.
So to answer your question, I would suggest looking for the spiritual within the scientific.

explore spirituality by freeing your mind of the beliefs and what science tells you is fact. just because you believe in something (say, God) doesn't mean it's true or real.
a useful product in achieving this level of thought:
